Last-minute gig at Southwind Pizza

We scored a last-minute gig at Southwind Pizza when another band cancelled, and we were happy to take it.  But in truth we were disappointed because the crowd was smaller and more subdued than at past shows we've played there.  Apparently much of the town's population, including our B & B host, was at Donk's that night for a big show.  Despite that, we had a good time playing for the folks there, and really appreciated those who stuck around to the end.

We found a fantastic waterfront guest cottage to stay in for the night, only 10 minutes down the road from Southwind.  The hostess was very sweet and brought us fresh-baked brownies, of which I ate at least three (oink).  The deck was perfect for enjoying our late-night beer and pizza after the show, looking up at the stars and listening to the sounds of the night.
