Summer Tour 2015: Sandwich to Oak Bluffs MA

We hung out by the hotel pool a little bit in the morning, but then moved on to better things:  verdant marshes, tidal streams, gentle sea, warm sand, and a glorious blue sky at the Sandwich Boardwalk.

My favorite part was watching the terns swoop and dive, alternately chasing each other away from their respective hunting grounds and catching little silvery fishes.

I would have loved to stay longer, but it was lunchtime and I needed food.  We enjoyed Beth's Bakery sandwiches out on the porch, then drove back to Falmouth, dropped off the rental car, shuttled to the ferry terminal, rode the boat across to Vineyard Haven, and took a van cab to Sam's house.  We were psyched to settle in there for two nights and relax.

Today's travels:  Only ~39 miles!
