In the morning we made pancakes and took advantage of Dad's laundry facilities - much needed after over a week on the road! We went into Portland to have lunch, happened upon a street sculpture, and watched a bunch of kids having a sailing lesson. Then we took the ferry out to Peaks Island, where Dad used to live, and still owns a house that he rents out. Familiar territory to me, but it was Dacey's first time on the island. We had a good time wandering the rocky shoreline.
In the evening we headed down to Concord, MA, where we had dinner and drinks and stayed the night with my old grad school pal, Kim P.
