We had another afternoon gig at the Blue Mountain Barrel House. There was a new wooden stage outside complete with canopy, which was a huge improvement over playing on dirt and/or mulch in the past.
Unfortunately, there were very few people there to enjoy the music. Crickets chirped. That is about all there is to say about this gig.
After the show we packed up as quickly as possible, for we had many miles to go before we slept, heading to upstate New York. We drove for an hour before stopping for dinner, then drove another hour and a half or so until about midnight. We holed up at a Motel 6 in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The room was weird and ugly, but we didn't care too much at that point. We just needed sleep.
